Franck Riester, Minister for Foreign Trade and Economic Attractiveness, attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, will be in Kenya from October 27 to 29. He will be accompanied by a French business delegation.
Coming in the wake of President Macron's visit to Kenya in March 2019 and visits to France by President Uhuru Kenyatta in October 2020 and July 2021, this visit will follow up on projects that are key to our bilateral relationship in the business, academic and healthcare spheres.
During this visit, Mr. Riester will be hosted by President Kenyatta and several members of the Kenyan government. He will attend the signing of several partnership and investment agreements, specifically with Saint-Gobain, MEDEFI and Proparco, in line with the Choose Africa initiative, and will meet with Kenyan private sector and civil society representatives as well as French entrepreneurs in that country.
